Fudan International Seminar on Analysis, PDEs and Fluid mechanics
The speaker: Professor Jan Burczak (University of Leipzig, Germany).
Title of the talk: "Euler-driven scalar anomalous dissipation "
Time: Thursday, 11 of April 2024, 15:00 - 16:00.
Abstract: I will present my recent result with L. Székelyhidi and B. Wu, which shows that any scalar advected by a typical weak solution of Euler equation exhibits anomalous dissipation, which is postulated as one of primary features of turbulence.
