The next meeting of the “Fudan International Seminar on Analysis, PDEs, and Fluid Mechanics” will take place on Thursday, February 20, 2025.

The next talk: Professor Ivan Kuznetsov (Novosibirsk State University)

Title of the talk: “Impulsive Navier-Stokes Equations”

Time: Thursday, 20 of February, 21:00 - 22:00 (Shanghai time), 14:00 - 15:00 (Rome and Paris time), 13:00 -14:00 (London time), 15:00 - 16:00 (Vilnius and Tel-Aviv time), 8:00- 9:00 a.m. (US ET), 10:00-11:00 a.m. (Chile Santiago time).

Abstract: The present report is devoted to impulsive Navier-Stokes equations. Moreover, under periodic boundary conditions, such impulsive Euler equations can be combined with inviscid limit of Navier-Stokes equations. Moreover, instead of the Dirac delta function $\delta_{(t=0)},$ the Dirac swarm – linear combination of the Dirac delta functions $\sum\limits_{i=1^N\alpha_i\delta_{x=x_i}$– can be taken as a source term.

The seminar is organized by Fudan University (Shanghai, China) with the collaboration of Universita degli studi della Campania "Luigi Vanvitelli" (Caserta, Italy) and Vilnius University (Vilnius, Lithuania). This seminar is meant to gather renowned experts working on Geometric and Real Analysis with applications to PDEs and Mathematical Physics and represents an opportunity for presenting high-impact research, as well as facilitating the exchange of ideas between researchers. Lectures are scheduled on Thursdays, by ZOOM, with 60 minutes every talk.
