We invite final year undergraduate students, postgraduate students and those who have already graduated from Master's studies to participate in the scientific conference "Lithuanian MSc Research in Informatics and ICT" on May 6, 2026. The aim of the conference is to allow young people to present their MSc thesis research to colleagues from other universities. The event is open to a wide range of research and applications in computer science and IT. The conference is organised by the Institute of Data Science and Digital Technologies of VU MIF and the Lithuanian Academy of Sciences.

What are the benefits?
Students will be able to state in their Master‘s thesis that their research results were presented at the conference and published in the conference proceedings. This may be taken into account when the thesis is assessed.

Participation in the conference can be very beneficial for those considering further studies – when applying for PhD programmes, it is often taken into consideration whether the candidate has published scientific work.
