Giovanni Menon, originally from Padua, a city near Venice, came to Lithuania for his master’s studies – he is currently pursuing a degree in International Cybersecurity and Cyber Intelligence. This unique study program stands out because students spend each semester in a different country. The second semester is hosted by Vilnius University (VU).

Giovanni is pleased with how much better organized everything is in Lithuania compared to Italy. He says that studying at VU offers a different academic experience – here, he receives more practical assignments rather than just dry theory. “Living and studying abroad helps you grow,” Giovanni affirms.

Vilnius University Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics (MIF) is launching a video interview series featuring Italians who work or study at the faculty. The first interview, available in both English and Italian, features Giovanni Menon and can be found on the MIF YouTube channel.
