A new academic year is starting at Vilnius University's Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics (VU MIF)! We're inviting new members of the VU MIF community to take part in the Introduction Days. These welcome activities are here to help you settle into university life and feel right at home in the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics community. You can find the full programme here.

VU Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics Introduction Days meetings will take place at Naugarduko St. 24 and Didlaukio St. 47. University-wide events will take place at the VU Central Campus, Universiteto St. 3, and on Gedimino Avenue.

From VU MIF (Naugarduko St. 24), we will walk to join the traditional procession of the Vilnius University community from the Parliament of the Republic of Lithuania (Gedimino Ave. 53) to the VU Grand Courtyard (Universiteto St. 3).
The procession is organized by the VU Students' Representation. More than 4,000 members of the VU community take part, wearing faculty colours and carrying banners. The VU MIF mascot – Micius the Cat – loves this procession and wants you to join!
