I chose my study programme because of the variety of subjects offered. I wanted to study higher mathematics, but I was very afraid of dry science, so I chose a study programme that includes economics, business, and programming. Personally, I like mathematics-related subjects the most. It's nice that the mathematics lecturers always justify where this subject may actually be needed. There is a feeling that we are not just studying, but that it will actually be useful after completing the bachelor's degree. |

I chose the Bioinformatics study programme because it seemed interesting and promising. I really like the interdisciplinary nature of the studies, the opportunity to combine two different fields: biology and computer science. It is interesting to delve into how computers work, and at the same time gain knowledge of biology, and learn how they can be compatible.
