Throughout the visit, partners reviewed project progress, shared insights, and discussed the integration of AI in higher education. They also visited local research and innovation institutions. The meeting included cultural and networking activities that further enhanced international cooperation and inspired new project initiatives.

According to Assoc. Prof. Rūta Levulienė, the visit was both valuable and inspiring: “ERASMUS+ visits provide opportunities to share experiences, identify common themes for future projects, and foster cooperation in teaching and research. During our visit to Pavol Jozef Šafárik University, we had the opportunity to explore student learning spaces, laboratories, and the equipment used there,” she said.

She added that the visit was particularly beneficial for strengthening collaboration in student and staff mobility programmes. Meetings with business representatives also focused on fostering cooperation between academia and industry, as well as on student engagement. During the visit, the AI2SEP partners held discussions, project meetings, and student presentations showcasing research results in the field of sustainability.

“I would encourage lecturers to make more active use of the ERASMUS+ mobility programme, which offers excellent opportunities to gain experience, build international connections, and promote collaboration,” added Dr. Levulienė.
