Vilnius University (VU) Integration Week is designed to help you get to know VU, its student life, and the processes that matter to you here. During Home Day, you will learn how to smoothly integrate into the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics (MIF) community and get answers to the questions you care about. Home Day will take place on September 2.

THE PROGRAMME FOR 2 SEPTEMBER:

10:00 AM | 10:25 AM | 10:50 AM | 11:15 AM CONSULTATIONS FOR MIF STUDENTS ABOUT MIF E-IDENTITY (Didlaukis str. 47, 307 room, Vilnius)

HPC, OpenNebula, Cloud Computing, Virtual Machine still sound like magic words? From today, these are your scientific tools, which are awarded only to MIF students. In order for these gifts to be available, you must log in to MIF e-identity, so we invite you to consultations with IT administrator Mantas Mažvila.

Four consultations for Bachelor's students of Bioinformatics, Informatics, Information Technologies, Information Systems Engineering and Software Engineering study programmes will be held at MIF. Duration: 15 min.

1:30 PM – 2:30 PM STUDENT SERVICES: TURNING CONFUSION INTO CLARITY (Theatre Hall, Universiteto g. 3, Vilnius)

You will learn how to get the most out of your studies: from individualization of studies, competence development, and mentor assistance to career preparation consultations and various training and internship opportunities.

2:30 PM – 3:30 PM COMMUNITY WELL-BEING: WHAT SERVICES ARE AVAILABLE TO VU STUDENTS (Theatre Hall, Universiteto g. 3, Vilnius)

During this meeting, employees of the Community Well-being Department will talk about the services available to VU students related to strengthening emotional well-being, support in times of crisis, adaptation to individual needs, and assistance in cases of discrimination or harassment.

3:30 PM – 4:30 PM SLEEPLESS LIBRARY: DISCOVER SPACES AND RESOURCES FOR STUDY (Theatre Hall, Universiteto g. 3, Vilnius)

Lecture on the services provided by the VU library.
