"Free Form Surface Modelling System"

Free form surfaces are important tools in computer-aided geometric design, and have been implemented in many software products. Creating free form surface modelling system, the attention has been paid to theoretical phenomena and their algorithmic implementation:

• the overview of geometric modelling methods have been made;
• the structure of toric surfaces in singular points have been researched;
• special multicorner constructs has been researched and algorithmized, enabling smooth deformation and exact implementation of joins in free form surfaces;
• the application of generalized Bezier surfaces and nonstandard n-sided patches for the modelling of free-form surfaces has been made;
• the design of data structures suitable to transform algorithms and principles into standard spline schemes and structures has been developed.
