The 17th International Baltic Conference on Digital Business and Intelligent Systems (Baltic DB&IS 2026) will take place in Tartu, Estonia, from 28 June to 1 July 2026.

Baltic DB&IS is an international biennial conference, hosted in a different Baltic state each time, dedicated to fostering research, innovation, and practical applications in the fields of digital business, intelligent systems, and data-driven technologies. The conference brings together researchers, practitioners, and doctoral students from Europe, providing opportunities to share research results, discuss the latest scientific and technological trends, and explore ideas shaping contemporary digital ecosystems.
Researchers from the Institute of Data Science and Digital Technologies of the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics, Vilnius University, together with colleagues from Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia, are involved in organising the conference and contributing to the development of its scientific direction. The first event in 1994, “The Baltic Workshop on National Infrastructure Databases: Problems, Methods, Experiences”, was held in Trakai.
The conference invites the submission of scientific papers addressing (but not limited to) the following topics:
- conceptual modelling,
- business process optimisation,
- intelligent computing and data science,
- semantic and knowledge technologies,
- trustworthy and human-centred artificial intelligence,
- digital twins,
- cybersecurity,
- new and emerging digital infrastructures.
