The data in the VU MIF users' home directory U: drive is backed up every 24 hours around midnight. Copies are kept for one month. They can be accessed by both students and employees in two ways.

File/Directory → Properties → Previous Versions

For employees

Click Win+R and insert the following:

\\samba3\old\users3\<data>\username

• <data> – the day on which the copy was made (format 20150615);
• username – MIF user name.

For students

• <data> – the day on which the copy was made (format 20150615);
• <stojimo metai> - the year when you start to study at the university
• username – MIF user name.
