==== Microsoft Software Activation ====

VU MIF staff computers and laptops are running Microsoft software (Windows OS, MS Office suite, etc.). The license was given from the MIF IT administrator. It activates automatically every time you connect to the VU MIF computer network.

If you are using the software from home, please note that after **more than 120 days** of using it outside the VU network, the software will stop working or display messages about the legality of the software. 

In this case, you should:
  * connect the computer / laptop to the VU or MIF network;
  * activate your VU VPN connection [[https://santaka.vu.lt/display/DUK/VU+VPN+service | VU VPN]].
