The spirit of the Baroque

The baroque era in Lithuania is reflected in many monuments and instances of Vilnius, including the church of St. George and the Carmelite monastery

The facade of the Church is made up of curving convex late baroque forms, and the high altar is made of an artificial marble mensa and a wooden reredos, set in the presbytery, whose walls are painted in architectural frescoes.
