The spirit of the Baroque

The baroque era in Lithuania is reflected in many monuments and instances of Vilnius, including the church of Our Lord Jesus and the Trinitarian monastery

The church is an octagonal, centre desing building with a cupola, an extended vestibule, and twin towers. The church was decorated in stucco sculptures and relief work, the cupola decor presents a graphic picture, illustrative of the structure of the architectural form.
