The baroque era in Lithuania is reflected in many monuments and instances of Vilnius, including Cathedral Basilica of St. Stanislaus and St. Vladislaus with Chapel of St. Casimir

The Chapel of St. Casimir in the Vilnius Cathedral was conceived of as a sanctuary of Prince Casimir, who was canonized in 1602, and as monument-mausoleum of the royal family.
