First BalticGrid Summer School in Tartu
The first BalticGrid Summer School succesfully was held at the Tartu University, Estonia, from July 4 to July 8, 2006
The Summer School was held at the Tartu University, Estonia, from 4 July to 8 July, 2006. The general purpose of this event was to provide students - mainly from the Baltic region - with a broad understanding of Grid computing, which will serve as the foundation for more specific work or research in this fascinating field.
Students received an integrated and well-structured introduction to Grid computing and its applications used in the EGEE and BalticGrid projects.
Vilnius University has supported student from VU, VGTU, KTU, KU, BTI, ŠU for their participation in BalticGrid Summer School.
